We provide an exceptional standard of service. We do this because our team is determined and work very hard, during a working day and during training.
All new additions to our team must complete a two-week induction, including in-house training and shadowing of qualified carers in their day-to-day activities. Following completion of our induction and successfully passing a range of tests, our new additions are placed on a probation period for six months. During this time they are regularly supervised, monitored, tested and appraised to ensure that our exceptional standard of service is maintained. All training is ongoing and regular refresher courses are conducted to ensure our team remain at the standards we require.
Following the probation period, or if not before, all carers will undertake the next level of their National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Health and Social Care.
Some people may think our recruitment process is too rigorous, ask any member of our team and they would disagree. Our recruitment and training programme not only prepares any new additions to our team for their job, but it also allows them to develop themselves personally, often inspiring new ideas and a desire to succeed. This is what we want, we learn from our team.
We invest a great deal of time and money into training to ensure our carers, and back-room staff, provide the best possible service.
